Teatranzartedrama

This project, promoted by Santibriganti and Teatro del Frizzo, is an artistic workshop which pursues a thorough analysis of Commedia dell'Arte masks, in a constant search for both continuity
and innovation.
The mask, as a magic-ritual tool linking the past to the future, acquires a poetic value, and is a primary and expressive means of research on acting performance.
This project is supported by the City of Turin - Teatro Convenzionato.
It is a peculiar objective of our activities to facilitate a dynamic and creative relationship among training, research and production.
Every year, in October, an intensive workshop on Commedia dell'Arte is organized for actors,
actresses and for all those who have completed a basic theatre training course.
This project counts on the collaboration of the scientific consultant Professor Ambrogio Artoni, lecturer of Semiology of Theatre Performance, at the University of Turin (DAMS).
